Geocells are geosynthetic materials made primarily of high-molecular polymers. They are produced through plasticized extrusion into sheets, which are then ultrasonically welded to form a three-dimensional honeycomb-like cell structure.

Features

Flexible and expandable, they can be folded up for transport and unfolded for use to be filled with soil, rock, or concrete, forming a structure with strong lateral confinement and rigidity.

Applications
1.Can be used as a subbase to enhance the bearing capacity of weak foundations or sandy soils;
2.Can be laid on slopes to form slope protection structures;
3.Can be used to construct retaining structures.
